- 15/01/2010Continuing its work for Richmond Upon Thames Council, Patel Taylor have been appointed to develop the site of Hampton Children's Centre to provide a new base for the Child Development Team to meet the needs of those children with the most complex special educational needs who currently have to travel across the Borough.
The multi-agency hub will provide facilities for children with profound and multiple disabilities, office provision for visiting healthcare workers, parenting officers, early years' specialist teachers and advisors, outreach works and midwives.
Alongside providing flexible space for visiting healthcare profesionals the aim is to create a functional building that is also a striking focal point for the local commuity with BREEAM 'Excellent' rating and examplar sustainable design credentials.
