Patel Taylor understand what makes cities ‘tick’. Working in existing contexts or the creation of new places, we know how to arrange the ingredients which make successful places, connected to new and future communities.

Our urban design and masterplanning work is broad in spectrum. In Reims we created a framework for new economic transactions. Our project in Antwerp created a city structure plan overlaying the Napoleonic Docks.

Connections and linkages are key to many of our projects; we have completed urban design guidelines for Kent Thameside tramlink and more recently unpicked a series of environmental linkages for Ashton-under-Lyne.

Our work is underpinned by rigorous analysis and public consultation. The many publications and awards are testimony to our vision. Our skills are professionally recognised with lectures and our involvement with CABE, the Urban Design Forum and more recently the Olympic Delivery Design Review Panel.
