The design strategy we formulated led to the successful resolution of an eight-year planning struggle for developer St George to convert this disused church into apartments. The project resulted in the conversion and use for nine apartments with the main body of the church viewed from Richmond Green retained, while the remainder is wrapped in contemporary additions to create spacious apartments with generous views and daylight. This resulted in a high value project for the developer, but also a positive living space and addition to this area.
