Patel Taylor

This was one of our earliest projects. The scheme was to create a light and airy reception, meeting space and design studio within a confined ground and basement space in a Georgian terraced property for a creative firm of engineers. Reception, exhibition space, meeting area and private office were located on the ground floor, while a linear studio in the basement was brightly lit by an ‘artificial sky’. A slatted beech wood stair presents a powerful object in the space linking the two levels.
