This masterplan framework for housebuilder Crest Nicholson was granted outline consent in 2008. It creates a distinct place with landmark architectural aspirations, maximising river aspects and the value of the planned 1500 homes. It also knits in to the existing urban grain, with terraces and courtyards, while the taller buildings allow longer riverside views.

A generous new public realm helps link the scheme to the river and opens it up for the local community while a series of green terraced private gardens enhance and intensify the new green landscape between the buildings.
